Broker McGill and Partners has introduced a unique commercial property war risk reinsurance program for Ukraine, marking the first such offering since Russia's 2022 invasion. In partnership with local insurer ARX, the program offers coverage of up to $50 million for commercial properties located more than 100 km from the front lines. The initiative aims to address the challenges faced by Ukrainian businesses in obtaining insurance due to Western reinsurers' exclusions. Seven London firms have already committed to providing coverage under this program.
