The President of the Mexican Baseball League, Horacio de la Vega, visited Taiwan and met with CPBL President Cai Chien-Chang and Secretary General Yang Ching-Lung on June 21st. They discussed and exchanged views on baseball affairs in Taiwan and Mexico. President Cai welcomed de la Vega and his delegation to Taiwan, and they also attended a game between the Chinatrust Brothers and the Wei Chuan Dragons at the Tien-Mu Baseball Stadium to experience Taiwanese baseball culture firsthand. They discussed various possible collaborations, including player exchanges, marketing cooperation, and potential exchange games between Taiwan and Mexico's national teams. The Mexican Baseball League has been focusing on marketing and has seen growth in viewership and attendance, expanding to 20 teams this season. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in baseball.
