Former Bulls point guard Michael Carter-Williams recently shared on the "Thanalysis Show" that the craziest season of his 11-year NBA career was the 2016-17 season with the Chicago Bulls, where he played alongside Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade, Rajon Rondo, Bobby Portis, and Nikola Mirotić. Carter-Williams recounted a specific tumultuous team meeting early in the season where tensions ran high between Butler and then-coach Fred Hoiberg. The Bulls finished 41-41 that season, but subsequently traded Butler and Carter-Williams signed with the Hornets. The following season saw the Bulls finish 27-55 and Hoiberg getting fired.
