Microsoft is raising the annual price of its consumer Office subscription by 30%, bringing it to $130, as it aims to generate more revenue for its new AI tools. The individual subscription will increase by 43% to $100. These changes, effective immediately for new subscribers and upon renewal for existing customers, mark the first price hike in 12 years and come amid Microsoft’s investments in integrating AI capabilities into its Office apps.
