MLB and the Prostate Cancer Foundation have partnered to raise awareness and funds through the Home Run Challenge, highlighting the prevalence of prostate cancer among men. With 1 in 8 men being diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, the initiative aims to support lifesaving research by tracking home runs, making donations, and participating in baseball trivia challenges. The ongoing commitment has raised over $70 million for prostate cancer research, with the PCF responsible for raising close to $1 billion since 1993 and engaging in various activities at ballparks around the country.
