Research from the Chartered Management Institute reveals that nearly 82% of managers are 'accidental' leaders without formal training, contributing to workplace dissatisfaction. As a result, one in three employees have left jobs due to poor management, while half of those with ineffective managers plan to resign within a year. This cycle of untrained leadership leads to a toxic work environment, hindering company culture and employee retention.
