Chase Sexton claimed victory at the Hangtown Motocross Classic after recovering from an early crash, securing maximum points and taking the red plate from Jett Lawrence. Lawrence, who crashed hard in Moto 1 and struggled with bike damage, saw his 24-race win streak snapped as Sexton dominated both races. Sexton's stellar performance propelled him to the lead in overall SuperMotocross points, while Lawrence fell to sixth place after a challenging afternoon. Other notable finishes included Hunter Lawrence in second and Aaron Plessinger in third. Cooper and Anderson also showcased strong performances in the challenging event.
