After being disqualified from the ShopRite LPGA Classic, Nasa Hataoka has lost Japan's final Olympic women's golf qualifying spot to Ayaka Furue. The Olympic event allows two players per country, determined by the Rolex Rankings, with Yuka Saso leading as the top Japanese player. Hataoka's disqualification led to Furue taking the spot for Japan. The women's Olympic golf competition will take place in August at Le Golf National in Paris, France.
