The Executive Yuan's reconsideration of the National Congress Five Laws amendments supported by the Kuomintang and New Power Party in the Legislative Yuan faced a setback as the blue and white camp upheld the amendments on Friday, leaving only the option of constitutional litigation. The Democratic Progressive Party is expected to file a constitutional lawsuit and concurrently request a temporary disposition, with the possibility of the Constitutional Court granting it based on previous cases involving similar legislation, albeit with time constraints.
