Legislator revealed that military officers' cars, command vehicles, and other military administrative vehicles may be equipped with Mainland China-branded dashcams, raising concerns of high-ranking military officers' whereabouts being leaked. However, National Security Agency Director Chai Ming-yan stated that after thorough investigation, it was found that the agency did not use Mainland-made dashcams and visitors were required to turn off their dashcams. The accusation regarding the use of Chinese-made equipment in military facilities was also addressed during the inquiry at the Foreign Affairs and National Defense Committee.
