Keelung Mayor Xie Guoliang faces recall, prompting the Blue-White coalition to propose amending the recall law, leading to speculation whether this move is tailored for Xie Guoliang. Additionally, the Blue camp has rallied to support Xie Guoliang through a four-party alliance and calls to recall Keelung City Council Speaker Tong Ziwei, sparking widespread discussion. However, current Taoyuan City Councilor and Deputy Executive Director of the Nationalist Party Think Tank, Ling Tao, responded on the Sanli talk show 'New Taiwan Style' that they have not yet initiated the recall of Tong Ziwei. Li Zhenghao on the show pointed out contradictions in the party's actions regarding the reform of the recall law, as well as the calls to recall Tong Ziwei, questioning if it was a decision made by Secretary-General Huang Jienting. Ling Tao clarified that the party has not decided to recall Tong Ziwei at present. Li Zhenghao and Wang Yichuan also raised doubts about the decision-making process of Secretary-General Huang Jienting.
