Nepal spinner Sandeep Lamichhane had his visa rejected to enter the United States for the T20 World Cup, despite having a previous rape conviction overturned. Lamichhane, a former captain, expressed disappointment over the decision and cited a similar visa denial in 2019. The 23-year-old's exclusion from Nepal's squad had sparked controversy, with his first match scheduled against Netherlands in Texas on June 4th.
