With over 13,000 new immigrants in Chiayi County, facing obstacles in community learning due to cultural differences and unfamiliarity with administrative processes, the Social Affairs Bureau assisted Chiayi Feiyan Entrepreneurship Association in applying for the 'New Immigrants Development Fund' with New Gong Township New Immigrant Association. A series of courses on 'New Immigrants Digital Audiovisual Applications and Community Life Recording' commenced on June 16 at the Xin Gang Pottery Art Village, with officials attending to show support. The aim is to empower new immigrants and enhance community integration through digital literacy and cultural documentation, facilitated by the association established by passionate individuals in 2011, in collaboration with the community and local authorities.
