Dubbed as the 'Chiayi 101', the Chiayi Fushman Voco Hotel opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by former President Tsai Ing-wen, former Premier Su Tseng-chang, Chiayi City Mayor Huang Min-hui, Chiayi County Magistrate Weng Chang-liang, and representatives from the InterContinental Hotels Group. This marks the collaboration between the Le Bao Group and IHG to establish Taiwan's first Voco hotel, aiming to attract more international tourists to Chiayi and Taiwan. The hotel, located in the Yunlin Chiayi region, is set to become a new landmark after years of planning and investment, symbolizing a significant milestone for the region.
