In Wuri District, Taichung City, the traffic congestion at the Successful Ridge Camp has worsened, causing distress to local residents. With the implementation of the new military service system and increase in military personnel, the congestion at the camp entrance during holidays has severely impacted traffic. City councilor Lin Haoyu and others coordinated with the military to address the issue by deploying more personnel for traffic management and proposing measures like crowd control during holidays and advocating for the integration of the Successful Ridge level crossing into the railway viaduct system.
