The Whampoa Military Academy will celebrate its centennial on the 16th, with former retired Major General and Taoyuan City Councilor Yu Pei-chen expressing dissatisfaction for not receiving an invitation. However, New Party Taoyuan City Councilor Jyu Zhi-bin criticized Yu Pei-chen as a political scoundrel and listed three major offenses, initiating a campaign for his removal. Jyu Zhi-bin and former 'Dismiss jet action' spokesperson Hsu Shang-hsien, along with human rights lawyer Chen Li-ling, held a press conference today for the removal signature campaign, condemning Yu Pei-chen for neglecting to supervise Taoyuan City politics and tarnishing the reputation of the Whampoa Military Academy. Jyu Zhi-bin claimed that the initiative aimed at cleansing the Whampoa's century-old reputation.
