A secretary of the New Taipei City Fire Department director is accused of misusing her position by using the official motorcycle to pick up her children and run personal errands. She was also allegedly involved in unlawfully claiming overtime pay. Although facing disciplinary action, she has not been demoted and even received a promotion, raising concerns of favoritism within the department and sparking discontent among staff members. The department claims all decisions are made in accordance with the law and regulations.
