A large fire broke out in a tinplate paint factory in Xindian, New Taipei City, resulting in the dispatch of 35 fire trucks and 66 personnel to extinguish the fire. The entire Anye Street was closed off by the police. The fire was brought under control around 6:01 p.m., with authorities advising nearby residents to 'temporarily close doors and windows at home, and wear masks when going out.' The factory staff have all safely evacuated, and residents are warned not to gather around the scene to avoid hindering rescue efforts.
