Recently, food safety issues have been a concern, even affecting well-known restaurants. Today, suspicions arose of patrons suffering from diarrhea and vomiting after dining at the classic MaLa Hot Pot restaurant 'New MaLa' in the Yulong City branch in Xindian. Following a health inspection revealing two hygiene concerns, it marks the second food poisoning report from 'New MaLa,' resulting in the immediate suspension of operations. The New Taipei City Health Bureau emphasized that in April, the same branch was involved in a similar incident, resulting in their recent closure. Inspections found two violations at the branch, leading to potential fines if not rectified promptly. The MaLa Group responded by acknowledging the recent incident and will cooperate with authorities to rectify the situation.
