A man surnamed Lin in his 30s from Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, was beaten by three individuals believed to be seeking revenge, after a conflict at a gathering last month. Lin, fearing that his wanted status would be exposed, jumped into Zhonggang Drainage Ditch to evade the police, along with his companions. The police have identified the suspects and are actively pursuing them for further investigation.
