Facing the issue of serious declining birth rates, various factors such as high living costs, housing prices, and education expenses are causing young couples to have fewer children. This trend has led to a significant impact on education, where schools like Fulin Elementary School in Gongliao District, New Taipei City, have only 8 students left after seeing 2 graduates off and no new students for the upcoming school year. This decline in birth rates poses challenges for Taiwan under the issues of aging population and declining birth rates.
