North Korea has once again sent balloons filled with garbage and even excrement towards South Korea this week, conducting a dirty attack. Some of these balloons reached Incheon International Airport, a crucial gateway to Seoul, causing a temporary halt in operations. In total, hundreds of balloons were released by North Korea towards South Korea on Monday and Tuesday, with some specifically targeting Incheon. This incident marks the first time North Korean balloons have invaded Incheon International Airport, located 40 kilometers from the North-South Korean border, leading to minimal flight disturbances during the early morning closure. However, if these balloon intrusions continue and occur during peak hours, the impact on flights could be significant.
