North Korea Test Fires Missile Again - Missile Flight Towards East for 200 Kilometers, South Korea: Launch Failed

North Korea reportedly successfully test-fired a long-range hypersonic missile on June 25, 2024. South Korean military announced today (6/26) that North Korea launched another unidentified ballistic missile this morning, but it exploded mid-flight. The Japan Self-Defense Forces detected a missile flying eastward for about 200 kilometers, suspected to be North Korea's test of a hypersonic missile. Following the missile launch, high officials from South Korea, Japan, and the United States condemned North Korea's actions, calling it a violation of multiple UN Security Council resolutions and a threat to regional peace and security.
