Novak Djokovic, the current world No. 1 in tennis, has withdrawn from the French Open due to a torn meniscus in his right knee. With the need for surgery and recovery time, he may not be ready for Wimbledon in early July. Djokovic had managed to win against Francisco Cerundolo in a challenging match despite the injury, but may choose to prioritize the Summer Olympics in Paris later in July over Wimbledon where he has won seven times.
