Nutritional Differences Among Four Types of Beans Revealed by Nutritionist: Green Beans are Starch, Peanuts Belong to Oil

Reported 8 months ago

Some foods are often misunderstood in terms of classification, with beans divided into 'protein,' 'vegetable,' 'starch,' and 'oil' categories. Nutritionist Han-Yu Chen explains that commonly heard green beans and red beans actually fall under the starch bean category. Lastly, oil-based beans like peanuts are rich in monounsaturated fatty acids for skincare and cholesterol regulation.
