Nvidia CEO Huang Renxun: Market competition intensifies after stock price soar at shareholder meeting

Huang addressed issues of Nvidia's competitiveness amid traditional chip manufacturers and startups challenging its over 80% market share in AI chips, detailing strategies to maintain its market position by transitioning focus from gaming to data centers, exploring new AI markets like industrial robots, and collaborating with computer manufacturers and cloud providers. Huang also highlighted Nvidia's AI chips offering the 'lowest total cost of ownership', emphasizing their efficiency over cheaper alternatives. Shareholders approved executive compensation including $34 million to Huang in the 2024 fiscal year, a 60% increase from 2023.
