Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced at the Computex trade show in Taipei that the company's next-generation AI chip platform, dubbed Rubin, will be launched in 2026. The Rubin family of chips will include new GPUs, CPUs, and networking chips with details still scarce. The new CPU, named Versa, will feature next-gen high-bandwidth memory from manufacturers like SK Hynix, Micron, and Samsung. Nvidia plans to release a new family of AI chips yearly, shifting from its previous biennial schedule. Holding 80% of the AI chip market, Nvidia plays a significant role in AI advancement.
