British online supermarket and technology group Ocado announced an expansion of its partnership with Japan's Aeon by planning to build a third robotic warehouse in Kuki-Miyashiro, Saitama prefecture, Japan, set to be operational in 2027. This collaboration follows the successful opening of the first CFC in Chiba-city in 2021 and the upcoming launch of a second in Hachioji in 2026, aiming to enhance Aeon's operations with advanced Ocado technologies like 'On-Grid Robotic Pick' for improved labor productivity.
