On June 28, 2024, a collapse of the outer wall of an old apartment in Yingge, New Taipei City, resulted in a row of motorcycles being crushed outside a McDonald's located on the ground floor. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The incident is believed to be caused by the deteriorating condition of the external wall. The owners of the damaged motorcycles may consider legal action for compensation. Traffic controls were put in place at the scene, and the affected vehicle owners will be interviewed by the police for statements.
