On July 1, 2024, at 4:57 AM, ETF 0050 announced a dividend distribution. The well-established ETF, Yuanta Taiwan Top 50 (0050), with 670,000 beneficiaries, disclosed a new dividend today, estimating a distribution of 1 yuan per share, resulting in an annualized yield of less than 2.14% based on the closing price of 186.6 yuan today. While the dividend is not remarkable, 0050 has performed well this year, with its stock price already up by 40%. In addition, 0050, with a total size of 414.292 billion yuan as of July 1, is the largest ETF in Taiwan. Analysts believe that the benefits of stock dividend distribution from 0050's component stocks have yet to be fully realized, making it difficult to evaluate the overall performance solely based on dividend distribution.
