A bloody protest incident occurred at the Taiwan Taichung High Court on June 11th involving a 25-year-old man named Fang who couldn't accept that the man who killed his cohabiting girlfriend and twin baby boys in Changhua escaped death penalty. Fang protested in front of the high court by cutting his belly with a utility knife to show dissatisfaction with the judiciary. Although Fang only harmed himself and was sent to the hospital for treatment, his extreme protest still shocked passersby. The High Court declined to comment further on the incident.
