On June 17, 2024, at 9:59 pm, two men dressed in black smashed Wu Zongxian's daughter's café in Taipei's Dongqu with baseball bats. Initially claiming a dispute over a purchase, they later changed their story to being dissatisfied with Wu Zongxian's hosting style as the reason for smashing the café after drinking. The police found no instigators behind the scenes and have prosecuted the two men for damage and public intimidation. Despite causing financial losses, no injuries were reported during the incident.
