Over 57% of People Support Parliamentary Reform According to Latest Poll; DPP Urged to Face Reality by Legislator Hsu Chiao-hsin

The Legislative Yuan passed the parliamentary reform bill through a third reading, but the executive Yuan will request reconsideration. According to the latest poll, 57.3% of the people support parliamentary reform, with 40.3% strongly supporting it and 17.0% somewhat supporting it. KMT legislator Hsu Chiao-hsin stated that the people have expectations for parliamentary reform, urging the DPP to face reality and emphasizing that this is not a bill for abuse of power but for equal rights. Hsu Chiao-hsin also addressed previous criticisms, highlighting the importance of scientific polls and the need for the DPP to confront public anticipation regarding parliamentary reform.
