According to TrendForce's research vice president Fan Bo-yu, panel manufacturers have begun adjusting production capacity in June, indicating a likely expansion of production cuts in the third quarter to alleviate pressure from falling panel prices. Due to weaker demand in TV panels in June and lower-than-expected sales during the 618 promotion, panel prices have remained stable, with IT panel prices also showing convergence. Despite some customers' reluctance to see significant price drops, prices are expected to stay flat in June, with a need to observe how panel manufacturers will adjust production capacity in the upcoming third quarter to ease price pressure.
