On June 17, 2024, TVBS News reported that the high-end summer camp operator 'Wisdom Academy' abruptly announced its closure due to poor operation during the pandemic, leaving parents outraged. Some parents had paid 210,000 for a 14-day NASA program in the US while others had enrolled in a 260,000 course that now seemed to be a scam. Parents accused the company of embezzlement and malicious closure, fearing that their money for the summer camp might not be refunded.
