Reported 10 months ago

The Legislative Yuan will vote tomorrow on the parliamentary reform reconsideration proposal. To ensure a smooth session, KMT legislators started taking shifts to camp out in front of the assembly hall. Both KMT and People First Party caucuses have expressed intentions to reject the proposal, while DPP caucus secretary-general Wu Si-yao stated there would be no malicious boycott and all parties have the responsibility to ensure the vote proceeds smoothly. The vote on the reconsideration is scheduled to take place on the morning of the 21st, with stringent measures in place by different parties to supervise the process and ensure order is maintained.
