On June 13th, 2024, President Lai Ching-te approved the reconsideration of parliamentary powers bill, with the Executive Yuan also requesting the Legislative Yuan to reconsider. Regarding the reconsideration schedule, party caucuses have ultimately decided to hold committee reviews on the 19th and 20th, with Prime Minister Cho Jung-tai invited to attend and explain. The vote is set to take place on the 21st after the report items are completed in the morning. The Nationalist Party proposed voting on the 14th or 18th, while the Democratic Progressive Party believes the parliamentary power amendment is a significant issue and should not be rushed, as long as it is voted on within 15 days of receipt at the Legislative Yuan.
