Activist investor Nelson Peltz has reportedly sold his entire stake in Walt Disney Co. after his Trian Fund Management LP lost in an attempt to secure Disney board seats. The shares, valued at over $3.5 billion, were mainly owned by Ike Perlmutter, former chairman of Disney’s Marvel Entertainment. Trian did not immediately respond to requests for comment. This move follows Peltz's defeat in the proxy battle against Disney.
