Brazil's state oil company, Petrobras, has approved a $283 million settlement to resolve a dispute with EIG Energy Fund XIV in a U.S. court, as disclosed in a recent securities filing. This payment has been accounted for in Petrobras' earnings, related to EIG's investment in FIP Sondas, a former shareholder of the offshore drilling firm Sete Brasil.
