Workers at a Whole Foods store in Philadelphia have voted to unionize, marking a significant labor victory for the employees of the Amazon-owned grocery chain. With a vote of 130-100 in favor, approximately 57% of the workers expressed their desire for union representation. This vote follows a filing for a union election in November 2024, marking the first successful union drive since Amazon acquired Whole Foods in 2017.
