The New Taipei City government held an awards ceremony for the 'New Taipei Good Tea' Pouchong Tea competition, where Mayor Hou Yu-yi praised Pinglei as the homeland of award-winning tea and welcomed visitors to come and enjoy the beauty, market, and taste the renowned tea on June 8, 9, 15, and 16. Mayor Hou also participated in a tea sealing experience, symbolizing hopes for the future along with the tea leaves in a sealed container, and awarded the top prize to the 113th Tea King Tsai Chih-lin. The event featured various activities and workshops, encouraging the public to participate and learn about the tea-making process.
