Known for their quality, Taiwan lemons are favored by many well-known beverage shops, especially those in Pingtung Jhutzu Township, which is renowned as the hometown of lemons. However, due to the impact of last year's Typhoon Kujira, this year's spring lemons have experienced delayed farming damages, resulting in a decrease of over 50% in production. As a result, lemon prices have remained high, with market fluctuations over the past few years. The reduced yields have led to significant challenges for lemon farmers in Pingtung, affecting both production and prices.
