An exclusive report on July 2, 2024, at 10:08 PM reveals that the Criminal Investigation Bureau's Third Investigation Brigade, after receiving a report from the Taipei Customs of the Ministry of Finance, discovered suspicious international letters during an air mail inspection. These letters, sent from the Netherlands, were found to contain various drugs including cocaine, marijuana, MDMA, LSD, amphetamines, and ketamine. A specialized task force was formed to investigate the drug trafficking group, which operated throughout Taiwan, aiming to increase the difficulty of detection by distributing the drugs to different regions. The investigation led to the arrest of the main suspect and other members of the syndicate, effectively dismantling the operation and confiscating the drugs. The case is being prosecuted for violation of drug control laws.
