On June 13, 2024, at 7:37 am, the Kaohsiung City Government Police Department held a celebration for the 113th National Police Day, which included a blood donation activity initiated by Chief Lin Yan-Tian to promote the 'Donate one bag of blood, save one life' public welfare concept. Mayor Chen Chi-Mai and Deputy Speaker Zeng Jun-Jie attended the event to commend exemplary officers, exemplary police mothers, officers with 30 years of distinguished service, and personnel who have made significant contributions to solving major cases. The event also featured performances by students from the Chinese Art School, the 'White Pigeon Police Band,' and the aboriginal police band 'Ki Sa Mu La,' adding enthusiasm and vitality to the celebration. Two female officers were among the nine exemplary officers recognized for their outstanding contributions, showcasing the strength and professionalism of women in the police force.
