The Yilan Fenju Police Station's Shih Szu Police Chief Lan Guozhen and Officer Lin Ruiping recently patrolled diligently from 0 to 2 am and were notified of a couple sitting outside on Lane 1 of Lanfeng Road. The couple, surnamed Lin, explained they were resting there while searching for their missing child for 8 years and had not eaten for some time. The police offered instant noodles, bottled water, and other essentials, and assisted them in seeking medical help at a hospital, showing care and concern for their well-being. The Yilan Fenju Police Station emphasized the duty of police not only to maintain public safety and order but also to actively care for and assist vulnerable individuals in times of need.
