In a joint operation, police in Kaohsiung City raided two KTV lounges in Daliao District where multiple Vietnamese migrant workers were found using drugs such as ketamine and methamphetamine, causing significant public safety concerns. The KTVs had restricted access for Vietnamese patrons to indulge in illicit drugs, prompting the formation of a task force involving various units to investigate the case. During the search, police seized drugs and arrested several suspects, including five missing migrant workers, who were then referred to authorities for prosecution under drug control laws and immigration regulations. The police encourage the public to report suspicious drug-related activities to maintain social order and public health safety.
