A policeman in Yunlin, Taiwan, was commended for his brave actions during a shootout with a fugitive who shot at him after being caught 'towing' a vehicle. Despite being grazed by a bullet, the officer returned fire and helped capture the fugitive. Surprisingly, he received a B grade evaluation for his performance, even though he had received 93 commendations including 85 from his previous assignment in New Taipei City. The evaluation process did not account for his past accolades or his life-threatening experience.
