A well-known dessert shop in Taipei near Shuanglian MRT Station, specializing in the popular Basque cake, announced its closure on July 14th due to a lack of staff. The shop, founded by Kun Chang-Hong, offered a variety of desserts made with high-quality ingredients like fillet cream cheese, American California fresh cream cheese, French Isigny white cheese, Norman fresh cream, and Japanese Honoka sugar. Recognized for their Basque cake, French chocolate cake, and matcha cake, the closure has disappointed many loyal customers. To thank customers, the shop will offer certain menu items at opening prices from June 15th until closure, including their No.1 Basque Cheesecake, cinnamon rolls, and Cat's Tongue cookies. Moreover, the shop reminds customers that their LINE point card service will end on the same day, urging customers to use their points before closure.
