Shane van Gisbergen claimed his first victory in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Portland International Raceway by passing Justin Allgaier for the lead with four laps remaining. Allgaier finished second after leading 46 of the 75 laps. Van Gisbergen, from New Zealand, became the seventh foreign-born driver to win in the Xfinity Series and secured a spot in the playoffs with his victory. The next race is on June 8 at Sonoma Raceway.
