In Nanhua District, Tainan City, Taiwan, a horrific shooting incident occurred early morning on July 8th, where Fishery Association director Lin Shijie was ambushed and shot at close range in his home doorway, sustaining six fatal gunshots to his chest, face, and neck. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his wounds half an hour later. Surveillance footage of the gunman's pre-meditated attack and escape route has been exposed, with the police actively investigating the case to apprehend the suspect and any accomplices involved.
